I bought the myWeigh 200z off RightOnScales.com, and just got them today. They're better than expected. They weigh up to 200g with supreme accuracy (0.1g). It has a "tare" feature on it, so if you're weighing something with a bag, (or any other kind of container) and wish not to include the bag/container, you place the container on the scales, press the "tare" button and only the bags content will be weighed (the weight of the bag will be deducted).
It's a little lightweight though, but it was less than $30 including S&H, which is a pretty good steal. I also like how there is not much of a delay in the time you put the material on the scales, and the readout.. it's pretty much instant.
Although, there is one thing I don't like about it. It doesn't do much rounding, so for instance a worn nickle will usually show 4.9g, because it's really 4.9995g or whatever - if it would round here that would be nice. It seems to have really more of 0.2g accuracy. I'm not sure if all scales are like this though, I have no basis for comparison other than manual scales.
All around though, very sensitive piece of equipment for pretty cheap. I'd definatly recommend them over $70 scales, that probably aren't too much better. |
