Purchased a Lucky 11 my-weigh model recently from rightonscales.com. The order fulfillment and delivery time was awesome. It shipped the next day and arrived on the opposite coast within 2-3 days from when it went out.

The Lucky is decent for the price. Once calibrated, I ran some sample weighings with US penny and nickel coins (nickel = 5g, newer pennies = 2.5g) and everything looked good. You just have to make sure the payload is centered as much as possible in the dish and tap the balance arm a little bit to let things settle (while trying not to knock the sliders out of position).

For a bit more money, the my-weight flipscale looks like a great digital alternative, and if I ever need to buy another scale with hundreths of a gram resolution, it will surely be that model.

Just for reference, the My-Weigh FlipScale F2 (http://www.rightonscales.com/web/flipf2.htm) is accurate to 0.05g.

For a true 0.01g scale see the Jennings HP-50X: (http://www.rightonscales.com/web/hp50x.htm)

Or My-Weigh DuraScale Precision: (http://www.rightonscales.com/web/durascale.htm)

I have to give a thumbs down on the F2.

I just bought one for around $60.

It's a cute little bugger, but the +/- 0.05g thing really gets to me.

It NEVER calibrates to 100g.

It's useful, yes, and stylish, but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't buy one.

I'd look for a good 0.01g digital, or go whole-hog and get a 0.001g.

That's just my experience.

MyWeigh / RightOnScales / DigitalScales.ca / CanadianWeigh / DigitalScales.com / ScaleMagazine.com is a scam - all the same scam.

These posts are just a marketing scheme by them. I'm going to reply to each of these posts so that people finding it on Google don't get fooled. My apologies to the admins. Please delete the entire thread rather than just my post if you're going to delete anything Smile

Hello Saul,

This board is operated by us here at RightOnScales for our customer's reviews and for the consumer community at large. Check the WHOIS information to confirm this.

All of the reviews on our forum are from real customers, feel free to contact them and ask. Because they are real, you will see both positive and even the occasional negative review which are posted to help customers decide on a model right for them.

Please be sure to get your facts in order before lumping CheapScales.net and RightOnScales into your conspiracy theory.

Regards

- Adam

My reviews on the Lucky 11 and 400Z were honest reviews. If you're looking for something sensitive for under $20, nothing even comes close to the Lucky 11. You don't have to wait for the scale to "settle," and the battery never goes low because there is none. The L11 is a miniature beam balance, and has been performing nicely for me.

I'm not a "bot" or a part of a conspiracy. I spent my money hoping to get something useful, and the L11 exceeded my expectations. I use these forums to find the best value for my money, and so far they seem honest to me.

I'm interested in this product but one thing that concerns me is does it come with a calibration weight? or is there a calibration weight I purchase separately?

Which model are you asking about? The Lucky 11 does not have any calibration options, while almost all of the digial scales do.

Post which one you are considering and we can dig up some more info. Thanks.
