I purchased my first Palmscale v6.0 from a local shop and paid $ 135.00. I was very impressed with the look and functionality of this scale. People who have never seen one before always comment on how sleek or sexy the design is.
I care more about function than form but I agree, it is a good looking scale. When it sits next to the Tanita 1479 that I had been using for close to twelve years, it definitely is a smart and sexy looking tool. I especially like the intelligent ideas that my weigh has incorporated in this device like the rechargeability and the hydro spring hinge on the hard, protective cover.
I have purchased two others from Right on Scales since, and I paid half as much as I did buying from the store. I do not feel as though I was burned at the retailer, as this scale is easily worth what I paid, and then some.
I did have a problem with charging the first scale I received from Right on , and when I could not repair it using the techniques described at My Weigh's website, they sent me a replacement at no cost to me. The problem, most likely, occurred in the shipping and handling of my parcel.
It's nice when a company actually stands behind their product, like the folks at My Weigh. I will never buy Tanita again. I highly recommend the PSv6.0 to anyone looking for a good pocketscale, no matter what professsion they intend to use it. |
